How do I redeem Claims?
Redeeming Claims is easy.
After unwrapping a Claim, just make a purchase — either in-person or directly through the brand’s website — on the same card you linked. Once you've made your purchase, you're all set. Our system will see the transaction on your linked card, and we’ll send you a Venmo.
So all it takes is:
- Linking your credit or debit card and confirming your Venmo account (just once, during onboarding)
- Unwrapping your Claim
- Making a purchase with that linked card
- Receiving cash on Venmo
In rare cases, it can take up to 5 days to detect that you've made a transaction and receive your automatic Venmo — this usually happens when a bank’s credit card processing systems are slow. If it’s been longer than 5 days and you haven’t received a payout, let us know by texting us at (201) 559-0484.
Here are some things you don’t need to do to redeem a Claim.
- You don’t need to type in a coupon code
- You don’t need to scan a QR code
- You don’t need to have an awkward conversation with the cashier about Claim
- You don’t need to invite a friend (but we think you’ll want to)
